GLORY/CELESTINE: DARK ANGEL

I am in search of some info on this spin off - I can find info where it lists there were 3 issues in the run - but can only find info on issues #1 and #3

It is like issue #2 never existed.

I have looked online at all the haunts and can only find one reference to issue #2 - but nothing other than it should be there and is out of stock.....


Even looking for it on a weekly basis on eBay for the past 9 months hasn't turned anything up.

Was something up with this issue?

Anyone have a lead as to where to find one?

I went away and put this post together - hit Add Post - then read your post that had showed up once I refreshed the page.

mega ... yes you are right. They never printed #2. My sources for this piece of information are Milehigh catalogue, Chris @ Rupps comics and 2 collectors friends of mine from England.

As far as the reason goes, reading the comic looks to me they printed 3 in place of 2. Period. You might get different explanations such as comic was never released, comic was released and took off the market and so on, but as far as reasons are concerned I stick to my assumption.

Someone posted tbasically the same over on the white board.

Their explanation is that in those days issues weren't released in chronological order sometimes, and in the case of this title, 3 was released before 2. Sales of the previous 2 didn't make printing the issue 2 worth it.

either way - I am just happy to know I don't have to hunt that damn thing down. Been actively trying for a year to find that one!

I thought that was the case-

there are a few missing #s in the switch from Extreme to Maximum........
but it's good to know it's really not out there
